Kevin Barnett's love for house music began as a child growing up in Chicago. He studied marketing at University of Miami, became a model/actor after college and started a clothing line called ADD (Addictive DJ Designs).  But Kevin’s true passion was music and he couldn’t resist the need to follow the beat, remix music and perform in front of a live audience.

Kevin’s DJ career began in Miami where he worked as a resident at Mansion with regular stops at Suite, Mynt, Prive and Nikki Beach. He was lured to Brazil when Mynt nightclub opened in San Paolo to become the resident DJ.   Kevin quickly emerged as one of the hottest DJs in Brazil, found a top agency, Plus Talent, met his Brazilian model wife, and decided to remain in Brazil to perform at top clubs including Green Valley, Sirena and Provocateur. Residencies include Confraria, Florianopolis and Miroir, Rio De Janeiro..  Kevin has played many festivals including Tomorrowland 2015 and 2016.

Kevin earned his Brazilian nickname, “The Showman” with his high energy, jump around, flag waving entertainment and extraordinary musical talent. His contagious personality lights up the crowd while playing a live Abelton set (AKAI APC40 MKII). His production resume features rock remixes inspired by his diverse musical influences, such as Michael Jackson, Guns N’ Roses, Depeche Mode, and U2.   Kevin’s music speaks to all audiences by specializing in Club House with a mix of Pop, Rock and Classic Rock!   DJ Kevin Barnett is poised for his return to the U.S. to rock audiences with his truly incredible energy and original, throwback style and let’s dance beat!
